The book will be printed this Monday...5000 copies.

My graphic arts instructor just sent me an email informing me that once again...I've won the annual Laney College GOOD NEWS Spring book cover.

WOW!!!!

In the 12 years or so since GOOD NEWS have been annually published...I'm the FIRST two-time winner...YEAH BABY!!!

This time there were 15 fellow graphic arts student competitors.

Guess who came in second?

That's right...my OTHER cover!!!



The movie theater won't be a cover...but it will be featured inside among the other 15 covers from the other students.

This year the competition was much tougher (and more students)...I'll show some of their covers later...some really good stuff...the third place finisher was an artist from the Art department...she did not do any software illustration...she submitted an organic painting (meaning no computer illustration)...her stuff was really good...I thought I was going to lose against her...but somehow I pulled out the victory, lol.
