Opinions : What would you sell these statues for ?

    Hi Guys,
A friend of mine is moving to a new house and she's getting rid of some stuff she don't want.
    Mostly her American Indian collection.
The statues in the photo's below were headed for the trash, but I saved them

Was thinking about trying to list them on Craigslist.
Any idea's as to what to ask for them ?

The large one is at least 40 years old.
Stands about 36" tall and is made of hollow ceramic.

The shorter one is about the same age and is 28" tall.
It's ceramic too, but i'm not sure if it's hollow -- it's quite heavy

I see no maker marks on either.

I know none of you know anything about prices for something like this, but if you were going to list them for sale --- and you did want to move them out, what would you ask for them ?

I don't want to ask for too much ... but not too little either.

    Thanks

The one advantage I have is here in the Poconos there's a lot of American Indian collector's and enthusiasts around.
Most town were named after native American's, and this whole area just has that feel too it.
Mostly for the Lene Lenape tribe (Delaware Indians)
The bad side is, these statues look way too southern or western to interest most local people.

Too bad you couldn't try them on ebay, but they would be a ***** to pack and send, especially the big one.

Are you sure there is no maker's mark on them? Sometimes they aren't just on the bottom but maybe around the base.

It also looks like the tall one has a small crack in it but am not sure if it is just a picture issue.

I'd ask $100 obo if it were me and see what happens. I collect a lot of native american type items but mostly wood carved figures.
