    Shocking experience

Anyway I'll keep this short and sweet.
As most of you know I'm now a nightwatchman at the zoo.Tonight around 8:15pm I was doing a walk around...A foot patrol if you will;as I came to the duck pond I stopped, reached into my magic pocket and pulled out some dried corn to feed the ducks and geese in the pond.
After emptying my pocket I leaned down on the top of the fence on my elbows no less and....
    ZZZZZZ aaaa pppp!!!!!!!

Somebody had miss timed the electric fence they are not supposed to be active until 10:30pm.

Wow let me tell you it packs a hell of a jolt.
Lesson learned, never lean on an electric fence ever.

If it made you glow in the dark, this could actually be beneficial for your work as a nightwatchman. You should ask for a raise.....

Who's there, glowing in the dark?
          It's.....Supernightwatchman!!!!!!!

            Nightwatch.

Just when you though it was safe to feed the duckies.....

Perhaps the ducks had something to do with it?
Did you see one, sitting in the corner, touching two live wires to the fence?

                Hope you're ok though.....

Sorry, but I got to laugh. I always think people getting hit with electric fences, tazers, etc is always funny.

It hurts like hell because it is about 10K volts, but not dangerous because there is next to no amps.

Really???... I don't think I would even entertain the thought.

What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger.
But that doesn't mean you should try it again!

When I was a kid I lived on a farm for a year or so, and I actually did this by accident. It's not the feeling one would expect, all I remember is every 5 seconds for the duration of, um, releaving myself, I was getting these weird shocks in my elbows and kneecaps that was not unlike the sensation of hitting your funnybone. I didn't really relize what was happening until I was done, by then it was too late.

I accidentally put my finger in a light socket once when I was a kid and it wasn't fun. Glad to hear you're okay.
