I really liked Hec Ramsey. I wouldn't mind watching it again. Columbo still holds up very well. I don't remember seeing much of Banacek when it originally aired but I did enjoy watching the first season on DVD. I do wish the DVDs of these shows had the original NBC Mystery Movie opening and theme. I always liked that music.

Columbo holds up very well, IMHO. Seeing the show rerun on MeTV inspired me to buy the series on DVD.
      WANTED - Solid-Boxed WGSH's, C.8 or better.

Ever since Me-TV started showing Columbo on Sunday nights, I have become a fan of the show. However, they don't have license to enough of the series, so they just keep showing the same eps all the time. (Geez, I think I have some of them memorized). My housemate, who is 35 adores Columbo, and wants me to watch it w/ her on Sunday nights. Me-TV also has McMillian & Wife, McCloud and Banacek (taken over from Cozi-TV) weeknights (or mornings?) at 12:30 AM after Perry Mason. I wrote and suggested they switch and show Columbo in this time slot, and do the "original" Mystery wheel on Sundays. I never heard back.

Even though I have the DVD's i'd like to see MeTV start playing the newer Columbo's from 1989 - 2003.

Many are not that good, but some shine even more than the classic series - see Rest in Peace, Mrs Columbo

I'm surprised to see someone mention that obscure series. It's pallid now, but that show, and particularly the pilot telefilm, meant a great deal to me when I was...trying to figure things out.

It's obscure now but at the time it was pretty popular.

Watched it every week with the family
