The never ending Mego story

Hey gang, I just had a thought. Yeah, So if you smelled something burning recently that was probably it. har har...Anyway....What cha all think about doing a never ending Mego story? It is Mego related...something we can all relate to....My idea is for us to pick out Mego characters and post a couple of sentences of them in action thus far making a story. And with all those that wish to participate we can keep the story line going...kind of like a comic book or a tv show...just for fun of course. So what do you guys and gals think? Is it a good idea or am I just grasping for straws here for something new for all of us to post and wasting our time????

Anyone can feel free to join in and kick it off if they like.

A long, long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away.....

This story begins on a deserted ice covered planet. The landscape is whitewashed out as far as your eye can see, except for a single black dot. The dot is that of a mask of some unknown super hero.

The silence is broken by a hum and the air shimmers as three men materialize out of the ether. One of them steps forward...


"He's dead, Jim"

Buried below the lone mask, the three men find the body of a frozen masked man. First thought that go through their minds was, "Why the two masks?"

Jim ask, "Is there a mole amongst a group superheroes, killing them one at a time?"

The Captain finishing a swig from his thermos of hot cocoa then instructs his first science officer to do a scan of the ice covered planet for any signs of life......

A faint bleep on the screen reads a faint heart beat. After a quick search, yet another superhero was found, left for dead. Thanks to the ice and freezing weather, he has survived his demise, but barely alive. Lying next to him, was another pair of purple shorts, just like the pair he is wearing.

The good Doctor quickly scans the newly found super hero and administers the proper remedy for the super hero's diagnoses. The Doctor has the ship beam up the newly found super hero for further testing and evaluation. The first science officer continues to scan the planet.....

Upon returning to the ship the captain asks his doctor..."Bones....why is the big frozen superhero green?" and the doctors reply..."Dammit Jim I'm a doctor , not a Gamma energy scientist!" The chief Science officer still scans the planet below......

The Science Officer completes him scan of the frozen wasteland, not finding any other life forms. Before returning to the ship, he does a quick energy source scan. He detects an object creating exothermic heat and investigates. He discovers a mysterious circle of glowing stones. After a brief mineral scan, he realizes the stones are some kind of kryponite.

Mean while back aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise Lt. Uhura informs Captain Kirk that there was some attempt of some form of what appears to be communication from an unknown source. Captain Kirk instructs Lt. Uhura to continue to monitor all of the hailing frequencies. The Enterprise continues to orbit around the once what was thought to be deserted ice covered planet.......

and discovers a distress signal beaming out, luring any and all superheroes to this death trap of a planet...

*Suddenly,over the intercom*
McCoy- "Jim,!!!"
Kirk-"Yes doctor what is it?"
McCoy-"Jim,You better get down here right away!"

*after a few minutes*

Kirk-"What happened,Bones?"
McCoy-"I'm not sure but he's dead Jim!!!"
Kirk-We must have beamed something up with us!?!?!?"

McCoy- "He is frozen solid Jim."

Kirk- "Bones, Get him to sick bay and begin an autopsy on him as soon as he thaws out."

McCoy- "Damn it Jim! I am a Doctor not a CSI".

Kirk- "I know that he is in good hands and that you will do what you can. We must find out what happened to this man."

In the mean time Kirk returns back to the bridge and grabs his thermos for another swig of hot chocolate.

Kirk- "Damn! This is good stuff!"
