Now WHO wants people not to call it "The Swine Flu". Something something to do with being politically correct. Then what may I ask are you suppose to call it?

          Mexican Flu

Where do they believe the virus originally came from? What country? Remember the Asian Flu? Didnt this swine come from Mexico? Now i'm confused, here in Nevada most people are still saying the " Mexican Flu" either way , its just a name.

It is to my understanding that it is now being called "H1N1" instead of the Swine Flu. Still a bad disease no matter what it is called.

I'm not taking all this talk of a pandemic too seriously, it wasn't that long ago
that there was going to be a bird flu pandemic and nothing happened ( thankfully ).

Alot of the trouble is poor healthcare in developing countries and mass travel. Here's a good example, here in the UK we had abolished Tuberculosis and smallpox yet they are on the increase again, mostly due to mass immigration of people from said countries with poor healthcare.

Air travel doesn't help either, since they banned smoking on flights airborne diseases are given free reign. Before, the air was regurlary changed but now you just keep breathing in the same stuff for the whole flight.

"there's people on the street getting diseases from piggies, yeah that's what I said they're getting diseases from piggies, now there's junkies with piggy disease, who's touching these piggies pah-lease, leave these poor sick piggies alone they got problem's enough as it is."

I'm sorry, I couldn't resist the reference to the FOC song Think About It. I live in Texas not to far from where the first cases in Texas were confirmed, Our school system was one of the first to shut down. First it was the one school, then the next day the whole district. Kinda freaked me out, but what can I do about it? I'm just keeping the hands clean, and trying not to be in any large gathering of people, but I still have to grocery shop and I'm still going to see Star Trek on the 8th, I just think we all need to be cautious and use our best judgement.

I will admit though, the first thing I thought when I heard about the new strain is that this is how the zombie attacks of 2009 are going to start.
