did it for 8 years...darn near killed me...would flip burgers before even thinking about doing it again...have zero memories of my son as a baby because of it...the list goes on and on...
I know the economy sucks right now, but keep marketing yourself and get outta that mess.

I had evenings all last year. I hated it because I didn't get to spend any time with the kids except for an hour in the morning getting them dressed and off to Preschool. Boy is 3, Girl turns 5 in September. Just started graveyard first of April and it has been good so far. I work my shift, get home, they go to preschool til 1530 hrs and I sleep. Phone ringer off, answering machine volume down. Emergency cell phone with ringer on lying next to me charging.Leave a comment:

Anyone here work third shift??
I just started on midnights and all I can say is YUCK. Wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have young kids in the house. Don't get me wrong. I'm very thankful to have my job, but this is not something that excites me.
