Your invention

Did you ever have a vision to invent something and maybe never did for whatever reasons? Only to find out later that someone else was thinking the same thing and did before you. There have been a couple of instances in my lifetime where I had thought of something that I thought would really go over well only to find out that someone else had already beat me to the punch.

In my mind at least I like to think that I was the inventor of the name "Cross Fire" for an automobile. I also came up with the idea to have walls in my house as LCD screens so that one could actually change the color of the walls at any given time. You want partriotic you got it click! You want a flame background? no problem click! and so on. Unfortunately I believe that both of those ideas have escaped me and have been taken and are already in use.

How about the rest of you guys and gals? Had any good inventions so to speak? I still have some now or so I think that I have not seen yet. ????????

Oh I had this whole thing for finding the TV converter mapped out and boy was I a genius, then about a few months later I heard the producer of "American Inventor" say on the radio that every second person has had the same idea....

Teck Deck Dudes.
I had been Drawing a Group of characters Called the Skate Rag's ever since I was about 10 or So... Just some punk Kids that Roll around on Skate Boards,.. Causing Mischiff , & Villianry, all the While just being Kids riding Skate Boards..

I thought it would be neat to make these Guys on little Skate Boards, & Ramps , & what have you.

One Day,.. they were just on the Shelf,.. & I was like "F" me.
So,.. I bought a couple.

It terms of snack food here was my idea:

You know when you pop some popcorn there are invariably a few half popped kernals at the bottom? Everyone seems to love these, they're kinda nutty tasting. Anyway, I thought I'd make a bundle packaging a snack food made entirely of these half popped popcorn kernals.

Half Poppers!

J, That is just not right man! We should be able to sue and actually win for someone stealing our/their ideas. That sucks dude! You were really on to something there. Even know it kinda sucks I still like to read the stories though as they are indeed bitter sweet some times.

That is actually a pretty good idea you got there. Put me down for a bag as well. And so it was born...A Mego collector name Megoat while surfing the web one day chatting on "some toy board" AKA The Awesome Mego Museum. He officially releases what is soon known through out the world as "Half Poppers". The snack that everyone just has to "half". Now Megoat with his new found glory has purchased a real Mego Museum with just a fraction of his profits from the sales of his new snack. You can mostly find him zooming around in a classic 66 Bat mobile when he is not Swordfishing off his yacht with a bunch of hot bikkini clad babes hanging all over him. Seriously dude! That is cool idea. Go for it!

I seriously invented half the wrestling moves going today back in the late 80's.
Mine had better names though:

The Super Sour Crap Apple - sorta like Tajiri's tratuala move- but a boston crab done with the guys legs through the ropes.

the V-Neck Mind Blower- a two handed choke slam into a spinning power bomb.

I had a list of like 100 moves I invented with my GI Joes. gave them all names. Now I see the light weights in TNA and ROH pulling them off and I'm like "Hey, I invented that".
