Wild race at the end. Edwards gets spun out on the final turn and goes airborn against the fence as remains of the car spray into the crowd. It's a miracle not more were hurt...or worse.

Thats why they don't want you standing near the fence. The track is only 3 or 4 feet below the wall and the catch fence is there for a reason. It was a good race.

Thats Unbelieveable. I don't watch the Races but I have friends that do. There always telling me how exciting and crazy it can be. Wow! I'm really surprised it wasn't worse. That Catch fence did the job. Damn......

Talledega and Daytona are the only 2 race tracks that use restrictor plates to keep the cars below 200mph. I enjoy watching races at these tracks more than any others. I love it when the drivers go all out and are 4 wide. But one slip by one driver can knock 15 cars out easy.

Yes, the fence did what it was designed to do. A good race for sure.
