I know her big hit was "Golden Girls", but to me, she was always Maude.

That's very sad. What a very influential and talent person she was. She will be missed.
                It's all good!

I never watched either Maude or the Golden Girls, I but I knew who Bea Arthur was since I've seen her show up on various shows I've seen. Maybe it was All in the Family. I'll always remember her for having that deep masculine sounding voice.

I Used to Watch Golden Girls with My GrandMother yrs ago.
Bea Arther was Briliant on that Show,.. Her Sarcastic Humor was very Funny. I also Loved Her on the Pam Anderson Roast.

It could very well have been "All In the Family". Maude was Edith's cousin and the TV Show "Maude" was a spin-off of "All In the Family". Consequently, "Good Times" was a spin-off of "Maude".

She was great in History of the World Part 1. She had a small part but her with Mel Brooks was great.

Oh, how sad...I didn't realise she was that old. I loved her sense of humour on the Golden Girls. May she RIP.
