    Public Service Announcement From Anderson

    HELLO EVERYONE.
This one hits close to home so please pay attention and read carefully , I promise this will be quick and painless.
When you and your family get into your car to go out please take a second to buckle your seat-belt. I know it can be bothersome and you just might not like it but try to get in the habbit. You can be the best driver in the world , with the cleanest record imaginable....but it's the other guy you gotta watch out for ! So please.....buckle up , it could make the difference.
And now you know.....and knowing is half the battle.

Good advice. I hope your family is hanging in there. I was sorry to hear about the tragedy.

please do not turn this thread into "one of those threads" I appreciate everything but thats NOT what this thread is for. I'm sorry if that sounds abrasive....I dont mean it to be....Just wear your seatbelt....it could save your life!

Very sage advice. Seatbelts really are lifesavers, and it's a great habit to get into.

Thanks Anderson for the friendly reminder. Just for the record I always wear my seat belt. I am a firm believer in safety first. I even wore my seat belt even before it became a law here. I agree about having to watch out for the other guy. I find myself doing that more often than not.

Always do. I won't even drive until the kids are buckled (they'll even stop us if we don't notice - "I'm not buckled yet!"). Always worth the time.

I'm all about wearing my seatbelt. I got into that habit at an early age thanks to my Mom

Here, not only is it law to wear a seatbelt...even if a passenger is not wearing one, the driver gets points taken off their license. Lose a certain number of points, and byebye license...

I never drive without buckling up...never.

As a matter of fact...I hated the original two-point waist-strap only seat belts I had on my 64 Mustang...so I spent $300 updating them to a three-point waist/shoulder strap modern seat belt set.

I would not be here today if it weren't for my seat belt. Was in an accident last June and the belt helped me not hit the steering wheel and windshield. I never wore a belt until I had kids, need to be a good example. And it was the other guys fault.

My Dad got me in the habit of always buckling my seatbelt. I always ask, "is everyone buckled in?" before I move the car, too.
I guess it's probably because he was a Trooper so it was important to him. I know plenty of people that never buckle up.
