    2009 Hallmark Ornaments

Since I collect Hallmark Ornaments, I just received a catalog of the ornaments to be released in 2009 and there are some good ones.

    Superheroes

    Wolverine
    Captain America
    Superman in flight
Old style Batman with cape out like he is falling
    Flash
    Wonder Woman

There was a really cool Spider-Man ornament showing the cover of his first appearance in Amazing Fantasy but in 3-D

    Sci-Fi

    The good ones I remember

Classic Star Trek (I believe a scene from Menagerie)
Han Solo as a Storm Trooper
    Luke in Land Speeder
    Robbie the Robot
There is a limited edition Greedo Star Wars figure

A few other nice looking Star Trek ornaments but can't remember what they are off hand.

That has got to be the most annoying way to show pictures i've ever seen.

All it did was freeze up my computer.

              Thumbnails anyone ?

Yeah, I hesitated to share it, since my old and slow laptop didn't like it much either. I just figured most people would have a faster machine than I do..

Well I'm looking to pick up the Donald Duck, the tin Mickey Mouse, Robby the Robot, Trek Phaser, Ecto-1, Cousin Eddie's RV.

The comic book ones aren't doing it for me....they look cheesy. I think they've gotten really crappy in the last couple of years.

That can't be the complete listing....there don't appear to be any classic toys in the line-up so far....

Sounds like a nice line up. I will have to check out the pix later on and see which of those that I wish to purchase in the future. I cannot wait for my new building to be completed. I need more space! I never was really a Hallmark Ornaments collector (not saying that it is a bad thing). I just never really collected them. I can remember the Star Trek Enterprise was a hot commodity was it not? Thanks for sharing the info.

I think the only classic toys I saw were the Little People (is that what they are called) School Bus and the Fisher Price Telephone.

There also is an anniversary Barbie and Ken doll ornament but that's about it.

I'll also add that there are a couple of interesting ornaments that Carlton is releasing this year.

One is a John Lennon ornament that plays clips from "Imagine"
There will also be one of our current president

Man, that Captain America looks really cool. That one is on my list for sure.

                              Robbie is awesome!

The Klingon Battle Cruiser is a thing of beauty.

Ilea and the phaser seem like weird choices.
