    Steel City Con this weekend!

    Hi Everyone

Just wanted to post a reminder that the Steel City Con is happening this weekend in Pittsburgh. Usually has a good mix of older and newer toys, with some pretty good prices. I've been attending and selling at this one since 1993. They had to move it to a new location from the old Monroeville Expomart, but it will be back in Monroeville at the new Expomart in December. Some decent guests including Anthony "C3PO" Daniels, Catherine "Daisy Duke" Bach, and Herb Jefferson Jr. the original Boomer. Hope to see some of you there.

    Thanks!

I posted this earlier. Glad to see that another Megohead will be there!
Hey! Where's the waiter with the water for my daughter?

I'm glad to see that it is moving back to Monroeville. I'll try to make it up on Sunday if possible.

So did anyone go and get anything cool? There weren't a lot of Megos, and the vintage toys in general were a little sparse, but I had a nice time. I got a Mego Thor, a re-release of an old Robin model kit, the Kelly/Tommy as Catwoman/Batman set(Barbie), and the DC 13" Black Canary, along with a few cheap Star Wars figures for army builders and customs.

The con was very well attended for the location, I was very pleased. Not a ton of vintage stuff, aside from Gary with his great wall of vintage Mego Superheroes. When it moves back to Monroeville at the new Expomart many of the dealers will return. My major grab was an LJN Dune Spice Scout MIB. This thing is huge and I've always wanted one. Great deal too. Come out and support the Dec. show.

I was wondering if that was where Del's Thor came from. I read Del's thread before attempting and decided that I'll just catch up with Gary over the phone some time. I was going to go from Wheeling after work, but after pulling the 13 hour wake over, I was just too tired for the hour+ road trip to the new location.

See you at the next one Ed. Can't wait for it to be back in Monroeville!
