Help me help a friend's YouTube song/video go Viral!

A dear childhood friend of mine is finally pursuing her passion for singing and especially songwriting. I remember her singing to herself and people just stopping conversations just to listen. Now she is trying to create some buzz around a song she wrote that is on Youtube. If you wouldn't mind taking a quick listen, I'd appreciate it. She has a great Bluesy, Folky, Country flair.

More importantly, if you have a YouTube account and could leave a nice comment about the song, I'd REALLY appreciate it. That is the kind of feedback that really helps an artist generate buzz. Creating an account is pretty easy as well.

If you like the song, any help you could muster in passing along the link would REALLY REALLY be appreciated. Email, Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, whatever you would be willing to do to spread the word, and asking others to continue to comment and spread the word would be great.

The video itself isn't much beyond images expressing some of the song's theme's of love and acceptance, but I was personally touched by the beauty of the song and it's message. I hope you enjoy it, and thanks for any help you can give here.

Right now the video is at 162 views and 4 comments.

For more information about the artist, Nancy Carey Johnson,
you can visit these links and listen to more of her work.

Some of the other songs I really enjoyed on this second link

Wild Women Don't Get the Blues - A fun female empowerment tune
God Bless America (An American Anthem) - not the one you think, it really leaves you feeling patriotic!
Rockstar - I can see this done up as a much harder Rock tune, but it's great acoustically
Note from God - Not religious at all, I wouldn't want to be the guy she wrote this about!

Listen to some of those, and I think you'll end up listening to the rest!

    WOW!

Strong writing and the girl's got pipes! The guy's good too, but she really is outstanding.

Thanks for the reply. We're up to 189 views, but not many comments (here or there). I know this forum does crazy things like vote for people in internet contests for people they don't know, so I'm hoping for some of the same kind of help here. C'mon peoples!

Guess I overestimated the amount of support I could generate here. I won't make that mistake again.

Paul---don't give up on this kind of thing that easily.

Promotion and the like for a youtube video
isn't that easy no matter what the situation.

Myself, for example, I usually wouldn't comment on a song like that as it's kind
of a "down the middle" acoustic love song---and I'm assuming
that that's a good reason many here aren't commenting as much

---that song could be the best of it's kind, but it's a pretty specific genre
              among us 30/40 something comicbok-fan-dudes.

You're a good fan-friend for helping your singer friend like this.....Keep the faith!

(I put my comment on---under the name GARY84ROCKS)
"No. No no no no no no. You done got me talkin' politics. I didn't wanna'. Like I said y'all, I'm just happy to be alive. I think I'll scoot over here right by this winda', let this beautiful carriage rock me to sleep, and dream about how lucky I am." - Chris Mannix

Sorry if I overreacted. I appreciate all the comments, and I am sure Nancy does as well. No more posting after a bottle of wine.

Actually the song is growing on me...it's very smooth and calming.

It has a nice John Denver vibe to it as well.
