300 DVD tomorrow...worth buying?

I remember a few people posted on here that they really liked 300 in the movie theaters.

Is this movie worth purchasing or is it better suited as a rental?

I'll put it this way - I haven't bought a DVD in probably the last 4 months, but tomorrow I am buying two - 300 and Hot Fuzz.
Both were amazing movies and both very worth owning.

I think this film will definitely stand up to repeat viewing, so it's worth buying IMO. I'll be picking up the Blu-ray disc version tomorrow, early reviews say it looks and sounds incredible.

Had a chance to buy it at the SDCC and passed because they were asking $50 for the two disc with the collectors mask in it. To much for me decided I was going to wait for tuesday and get the collectors one for $20. A must see if you havent seen the movie.

I will probably pick this up (thanks for the reminder). I rarely buy DVD's, but this may have been my favorite movie this year. It was a cinematic spectacular, exactly the kind on movie DVD's were made for in my opinion.

I bought the special edition at SDCC. Its a great movie and I'll watch it over and over.
