    Batman Trailer 2008

I couldn't find if this had been posted, but I'm assuming it may have been posted. I saw this attached to Simpsons movie on Saturday. Its a classic version of a trailer put out before any of the footage is available, but it still pumped me up. I usually don't get all nerdy when I see these, but the Bats still does it for me-

I think this and Iron Man are going to make 2008 the best year for comic movies so far.

My favorite DC and Marvel characters (pre-Civil War in the latter's case) with movies that seem to be on track so I'm pretty excited about it right now.

I saw on fox news SUnday where they closed off part of Waker Drive in Chicago to film a semi truck flipping for the new Batman Movie.

I suspect we will be seeing more worldwide releases on the same date. That seems to be the new trend for mega-movies.

Yeah, you're probably right. Either way, I'll be there on opening day

                          Don't forget, 2008 will see...

Wanted ... March 28, 2008 (adaptation of the Mark Millar comic)
                          (Iron Man ... May 2nd, 2008)
                          The Incredible Hulk ... June 14th, 2008
                          Hellboy 2 ... July 11th, 2008
                          (The Dark Knight ... July 18th, 2008)
                          and, hopefully...

                          Wolverine ... November 2008

Toss in a few non-superhero movies like Speed Racer (May), Mummy 3 (July), Where the WIld Things Are (October), another James Bond (November), The Wolfman (November), and last but not least, Star Trek (Christmas Day), and I'm looking forward to 2008 for movies in general.

Of course 2009 is already shaping up with Punisher 2, The Watchmen, the Green Hornet, Sin City 2, and the Superman Returns sequel. And with so many coals in the fire at Marvel (and hopefully DC with Wonder Woman at least), it could just be getting better all the time.
