    FX Finds

As reported, the FX Show was disappointing this weekend. The recent MegaCon held at the same place in Orlando was twice as busy about two months ago. No, I didn't get Nimoy's autograph. Can you believe $70?
However, FX was not a total waste for me. I was there on Saturday. I picked-up some much needed Batmobile decals from Castaway's booth. I met Scott and David who were super-nice guys. I got to check-out all the stuff on display. I really liked the "Man-Wolf" figure and loved the idea of the diorama with hunters and Man-Wolf being shot by an arrow. Hope to see pics of that display one day. Missed the chance to meet Damian, but maybe next time.
I did find a few items on my never-ending "Want List" and most vendors were willing to bargain.

    I picked up the following:
    1. loose Knieval figure - $5.00
    2. loose original 12" C3-PO - $20 (tight and shiney and very good condition)
    3. Bionic Man figure - $30 (complete and very good condition)
    4. Legends Dark Knight Batgirl - $10 (MOC - for my daughter)
    5. Mego Uhura - $5.00 (loose and fair - dumped in a large box of misc. stuff)
    6. Pepsi Call Upon Yoda sign - $25 (large, 3-d, plastic, and double-sided)
    7. Complete Galaxy Yoda on Dagobah - $7.00 (MIB)

Not bad for one day. I was happy with the new additions to my collection.
For those MM members in the Florida area, the Ultimate Horror Weekend (Oct. 9-11) is an awesome show.

Yeah, it's the Spooky Empire one -- previously called Screamfest.
Did you stop by their table on Saturday?
It's a fun show at the Wyndham Orlando Resort.
Party the night before, pool, restaurant, bar...
