    RIP Tom Snyder

A beloved icon of 70's broadcasting, I really enjoyed his mid-90's CBS Late Nite Show. A true original.

The Tomorrow Show was one of the first really late night oddities I watched as a kid. I probably started watching because of Dan Ackroyd.

RIP Tom, Fire up a colortini, sit back, relax, and watch the pictures as they fly through the air.

I used to watch him a lot. He was good people.

One of the things I remember most about Tom's tomorrow show was the 1979 appearence of KISS.

If you've never seen it, Ace Frehley is s'faced and doing a whole bunch of crazy things (like putting his arm bands on a teddy bear and calling it "space bear") and Gene Simmons is trying to hide how angry he is about it.

In the 90's, his one on one late late show was terrific.

Absolutely classic interview, I have it on VHS, and it's slated to be on the KISSOLOGY Vol 2 DVD set coming out next month.

          RIP Tom.

I, too, watched his 90's late night talk show on CBS and loved it. I think he was really great and hated to see him leave TV. I wish the remainder of his life would have turned out a bit better. RIP Tom.

I was a fan of his 90's show. It was nice to see someone who actually did real interviews with his guests. RIP.
