    Not my favorite fighter of all time, but Oscar had alot of heart, alot of good memories!

    i seen this today it was crazy he still has more in him them that what hes done i want him to come back one more huge fight

      He most definately Has Heart but its time for him to call it a day. He will be missed

        Ditto,not much else to say really I felt he should have retired a while ago.
        Lots of memories and a great run.

            De la Hoya might be hated by many boxing purists...but the guy never ducked anyone...he fought the very best.

            I hope he stays retired and does not comeback like Tito Trinidad.

            Oscar...enjoy life...and keep your brains intact.

              Ok. Orphans! Listen to Ignacio. I know it is fun to wrestle. A nice piledrive to the face... or a punch to the face... but you cannot do it. Because, it is in the Bible not to wrestle your neighbour.

                  In boxing, when you still have more in you is the right time to retire. When you don't, it's usually too late. Glad he is picking the right time for him, and not laying his future well being on the line for "the fans". Not a personal attack on you, just my opinion on the sport (and many other sports).
