This is nuts. And pointless. And stupid. And Tragic.

I read a little about Tom and Jackie Hawks and they seem like really fine folks. What I find hard to accept is that this lovely couple died for less than a month's wages -- $3800. To think that there are people out there who willingly would throw away someone's life for the equivalent of a month's salary. To be so callous to think that life is that cheap; to be so stupid that they thought they would get a big pay off. Stupid and Sociopathic...

I don't believe in Capital Punishment; but I can't find anything redeemable in people who would tie a man and a woman to an anchor and toss them into the sea. Those four are monsters, they're not human beings.
