*************UPDATE***********
The lawnmower has been found. The neighbor kids found it up on the bike trail about 300 yards from the house stowed under some brush. Those yellow wheels have a tendancy to stick out. The police will come and fingerprint the thing this afternoon and then I'll try to fire it up and make sure it still runs good. I'll be going out and getting a logging chain this afternoon and attachiing the grill & the mower to steel pole.
I had my lawnmower stolen from right outside my backdoor last night. I"m totally
off about it. The neighbors on both sides heard somebody back there, but one thought it was me and the other figured it was the neighbor kids messing around. I'm crossing my fingers that the cops will find it, but it had such a nice Briggs & Stratton engine on it that I doubt I'll get it back the way it was. The thieves also got into the storage shed behind the house which is owned by my landlord, but it's hard to say if they stole anything out of there. There's never been any problems around here before, but now I feel I have to chain up everything that I have out back. I'm fortunate that I still have my grill , but it's a lot heavier to move and with the chain that will soon get attached to it I'm going to make it more difficult to move. There would be a Hulk-Like rage if the grill were to disappear.l

seriously that sucks when i was 18 some kids broke into my apartment and cleaned out anything good. luckily they got caught and i got everything back. i hope the same ahppens for you. mike
