I just wished Billy Boob would've gone on a little more about his other hobby -- building Monster Models....

What an Idiot. Billy Bob ruined it for the rest of his band and that's just wrong. These actors think we should get on our knees and kiss their butts.

One thing's for sure---I don't applaud ANYone be it Thorton or Gomeshi
for that passive-aggressive doublespeak----but, as I said, when
one is so easy to dismis actors as musicians simply because they have two
passions they are trying to promote, I find it quite shallow and unfair.

I did not see anyone dismiss his passion for anything. If he had such a passion for music why didn't he do it as a first career? Lets get this straight, if his band becomes big it will be because people wanted to see if an actor could sing. I would have told Billy bob to get the hell out for being a big crybaby.

Are Celebrity's / Stars / Rock Stars anymore outta control than they ever were ? Or is it more so the Media reporting all the Chaos & Nonsense & devoting TV Channels as well as 50 Different programs to the BS, that is truly weird & Behavioral ,.. because they Truly Know people with no lives will Watch all this Garbage.

              Um....cause it didn't work out that way? I don't get your point...everybody
has to have ONE main passion that they make their career?

              That doesn't sound right.

Number one, how do you know that "getting his band big" is his primary goal-
--maybe it's just to be a musician and to play shows.

Number two, for you to speak for all of Billy Bob's prospective audience
              sounds too assuming.

I would have seen where that would be an option. A better one would have
been to stop talking to him entirely and just speak to the others who
weren't being so "touchy". That way you wouldn't make for an even more
              disruptive scenario.

Would the answer "you" "I" and all the others on this thread be too obvious??.

Geez. Hector---you don't allow me ANY leeway 'round here.

Imagine IF I started going offtopic!

...not being loyal to Billy Bob---

rather when I read posts that seem too assuming or otherwise confusing
to me, I like to "scratch the surface", probe, and see "where the
                          poster is coming from".

I thought I was having a stimulating discussion. Not mutual. Oh well.

Maybe most topics are just for commenting and not for
                          discussion/questioning.

I'll get the hang of it

Nah, I keep SUPERMAN III because it astounds me the stance that people---
especially...ahem..."comicfans"... take on a very cool Superman movie
---I understand that'll never change on the whole----but neither will my sig.
(And maybe it'll encourage some brave souls to watch it or re-watch it!)

As far as BAD SANTA goes---that's like the only Thorton movie
                            I watch repeatedly----I think it's great. (Otherwise, I don't think
I've even seen his other movies---except SLING BLADE a long time ago)
