    She looks good and I agree that the ads are a bit misleading. Nutrisystem and Jenny Craig are only short term solutions.

    I have been doing the low carb thing for about 2 years and have completely had to re-tool the way I eat.

    I am 6 feet tall exactly and weighed 235 at my worst but am down to 190 currently which isn't bad considering I have an athletic body frame. I would like to drop another 5 but it just isn't worth the sacrifice. I eat healthy most of the time and have the occassional dessert or junk food (I just don't make a habit of it). I don't consider myself on a diet, just a different way of eating.

    I was worried that maybe the low carb high protein style of eating would cause my cholesterol to be bad, etc. but quite honestly I had the best physical of my entire adult life last winter. I also feel a lot better too.

    It is amazing how much more energy you have just by changing the way you eat.

      The problem with me,

      I have to literally starve to just maintain a healthy person weight.

      Some people are just born to be fat -- me included
