    Forgotten singers?

Here are a couple of guys who had the world at their feet then just dropped off.

    1. Scott Stapp- Singer of Creed had it made. Top ten hits and a good bandmate (Tremonte). He left/got booted out of the band and is not heard from again. I heard the dude started drinking (and I hear he's good at it), got a divorce and is living a self destructive life.

    2. Jacob Dylan- Singer of the wallflowers and bob Dylan's kid. He had some huge hits then went away. I always thought the guy sucked at singing. Is he still around??

Any more you can think of?

It looks like Blink182 is back. There is a statment on their website that they are back together. I am crossing my fingers for this one. It also looks like Scott Stapp is getting his life back in order and there is talk of a Creed reunion as well.

According to wiki, he was considering in late 2008 a solo album release
outside of THE WALLFLOWERS---and he did a few performances
but it looks like he never followed through with the album(?)

As far as "sucking at singing"---I liked his voice alright---better than his
pioneer dad's voice I guess. Singing "talent" to me has always been
secondary to how I like the output.

I like THE WALLFLOWERS, and my friend had a WF album I liked---but
I never became enough of a fan to track it down myself.

Good call...I loved KIDS IN AMERICA from her first album---I'm listening to
that first album right now----very cool 80s pop----right up my alley.

Ah what happened to most of the 90s acts?
Limp Biscuit comes to mind. Creed needs to stay gone, that was music for soccer moms. All of the rap metal acts, rap and metal were not peanut butter and chocolate, they were not 2 great tastes that belonged together.
Kim Wilde, she outta be on that top 100 I hit wonders of the 80s that VHI is running all week, I saw last nights gonna catch tonights, Ill post if she is on.

What was that "light" metal band John Waite fronted in 89-90? I can recall the name, they had that hit "When I see you smile"
So is John Waite a 2 hit wonder?
Heh, that reminds me of Vixen for some reason.......
