I knew about the Play-Doh and the Slinky. I watched this special called "Our Favorite Toys" that told about them. I used to have the same scared feeling about my mechanical dolls when a limb broke off, not to that degree, but close. I was deathly afraid of them. One of them (Baby Catch-a-Ball) sat in the hallway of our apartment (supposedly) waiting for my dad to take her to the doll hospital to repair her broken leg. I didn't even wanna go to the bathroom by myself b/c she was sitting there!
