Anyone seen this movie? I want to take my 7 yr old daughter, but I wanted some parents input first.

I took my three boys to see it (13, 9, and 5). All 3 of them liked it, but the 9 year old liked it the best...
There are a few crude humor moments, but nothing outlandish (it's rated PG).
Overall, it was a funny, cute movie. And if you see it Mitch, see it in 3D. -
thanks for the review. I defiantly want to see it in 3D.
Think B.A. Where did you hide the Megos?Comment

I thought it was ok. I was hoping this film would do for monsters what "The Incredibles" did for 60's era superheroes. It's definitely not that good, but it is ok.
Out of two thumbs, I would give it one full sized thumb and one stubby thumb up!"Crayons taste like purple!"Comment

I really enjoyed it. Particularly as a fan of old monster movies. It's just packed full of homages.
Great voice cast.Comment

I always get disappointed with Dreamworks features.
I'm one of the few who gets really annoyed by all the Shrek movies.
IMO...the best Dreamworks feature is Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit...that one gets an A from me.
Dreamworks ain't no Pixar...that's for sure.
Pixar A+
Dreamworks C+ or B-Last edited by Hector; Apr 1, '09, 2:22 AM.sigpicComment
