    refrences needed

    So;

    I'm having a heckuva time finding refrence material for some projects I'm working on. Does anybody here know a good website that shows:

    -Native American clothing. Not the ceremonial stuff, more like the everyday sort of outfits
    -Victorian era clothing, as worn by the more common people; Victorian era military uniforms, especially Regimental insignia, and Vioctorian era architecture.

    reenactment organizations would be a good place to start. if you are a dinosaur like me there are alway books. peregrin books has all kinds of info on all era and nations military uinforms. Also for native americans serach the tribe and you may even find a tribal history website or museum

      This is a start for Native American clothing. The drawings are not highly detailed, but it is a good reference broken down into regions and it will give you a starting point.

      For some color photos of Victorian Architecture I ran a Google Image Search for you on a particular town in Oklahoma that has managed to preserve a lot of its Victorian Architecture.

            Have you tried looking at the Native American museum with the Smithsonian?

              NEAT!

              Thanks for the help, there are all really good.

              That's always my first go. Unfortunately, I find most books on history to be neglectful of the average person's life.
