I remember my dad got this mini Timex keyboard thing that you hook up to the TV. My friend Brian had one too and was showing me how to use it. But when I tried to show my dad, he wouldn't listen, claiming I didn't know what I was talking about. It never got used.

My first computer was a CoCo, as well.

I'm willing to bet my Dad still has it stashed away in his shop.

That's a pretty obscure one, not too many were sold, it was quite a failure for Mattel.

Oh yeah, the good old Timex Sinclair with the cardboard keyboard and less than 2K of memory. My cousin had one and it was near useless. It's main claim to fame was it was the first computer you could buy for $100

                        Commodore VIC-20 with cassette storage
I wrote a bunch of game and other programs for it.
I had a few cartridges as well.

I still remember, some floppy games used to take 20 minutes to load until you could play it.

I'd insert "Realm of Impossibility" and go eat supper while it was loading
Oh yeah, the C-64 was really slow in loading games too (I believe the 128 was compatible with all C-64 games). But then I bought the Epyx FastLoad cartridge which made disc loading 5 times faster (4 minutes instead of 20 minutes!). Best thing I ever bought for my C-64.

Oh and "Realm of Impossibility" was a kick butt game! (so was "Raid on Bungling Bay" which someone else mentioned)

I had that Epyx fastload cartridge, Epyx made some great games to man.
Funny story about those Tandys. Summer of 82 My parents saw that the Radio Shack near us was offering a summer class in Basic and other computer stuff over the summer. They signed me up, not realizing that Tandys Basic was thier own created thing, completly difrent than the basic every other computer used. They signed me up , and after about 2 days I noticed that it was useless to me. I wound up going thru it all anyways.
I sitll remmber having to put a P in front of everything = Pclear, Pset etc...
