List your ONE favorite actor today...

This is dedicated to my bud Hue...

Mine is Daniel Day-Lewis...the man is just mesmerizing to me.

Check the final scene in There Will Be Blood (his second Oscar winning role)...powerful does not even come close to describing this.

    WARNING...very strong scene...you've been warned...

YouTube - I Drink Your Milkshake

I also loved him as Bill the Butcher in Gangs of New York...

YouTube - Daniel Day-Lewis as Bill the Butcher

    His first Oscar...MY Left Foot...

YouTube - My left foot- the story of Christy Brown part 1

Don't forget his "action" flick, Last of the Mohicans...

YouTube - Last of the Mohicans- Final Scene(part1)

Awesome, I love this dude, lol.

Good Actor Hector. I personally think his best role was "In the name of the Father" about his imprisonment for a crime he didn't committ. My favorite actor is Bruce Willis. My favorite role he did was "The story of Us", a non action movie he did well in. I also liked "The 6th Sense". I'm also a big eastwood fan.

Hmmmm...If I HAD to choose an actor, I'd probably go with Ford.

It's tough to name a favorite actor.

It's easier for me to name favorite bands...it seems more "accurate"
than naming actors. I have no idea why that is.

Yeah it's tough to just pick one,To many great ones. There really hasn't been that one guy who's been great to me lately

I guess I'd have to go with a funny guy in Ryan Reynolds

I'd rather see a movie first than spoil it with a clip.

But I'm probably too lazy to go thru the process of
          tracking a Lewis movie down.

Still, if it moves you, I WILL take a recommendation on which
you'd think would be the best "starter" Lewis flick tho'.

Remember, I'm not too much into "airy" (drawn out) or surreal flicks---
example: FARGO and RAISING ARIZONA are my two favorite
Coen brothers movies....likely because they are the most accessible.

Harrison Ford is a bit wooden for me sometimes...but he is solid.

I could pick on his acting chops too---I mean, if you consider that
a "narrow range" is a detriment, then I think Ford is guilty of a "lacking"---
I just find his performaces real sincere---and that's enough for me---
and I "like watching" Ford....unlike, say, Jim Carrey who I think has a
lot of sincerity but lacks that "charm" that connects with me.

                  I gotta be honest----MANY of Hollywood's 1970s-modern day A-listers
that I grew up with, I think are pretty cool---and in that way, I'm pretty
                  predicatable.

I like Nicholson, Willis, Gibson---all those guys---it's just the width
and breath of Ford's career that makes him probably score the highest
                  with me...add to that the "Solo/Jones" factor---and...well...

There are just so many good ones to choose from. If I had to pick on at the moment its Bruce Campbell. He's not the best actor but he plays some great characters.

see in----THORA BIRCH and SCARLET JOHANNSEN too
