    Stupid Easy Computer Question

This is probably a stupid easy question that I should know the answer to, but I don't

I want to open up 2 windows and not use the tabs at the top.

For the past 5 years, all I did was minimize my window until I see my desktop and then hit internet explorer (desk top icon)
    That's it -- bang!!! - 2 windows

For the past week, I can't do this anymore.
The second window will not load.
It tries for minutes at a time, but then freezes before it comes in.

I use Yahoo as a home page.
Is this a problem because of yahoo ?
    Or my cable connection ?

It can't be anything I downloaded because I haven't downloaded anything in quite a while.

    What do you think ?

If you're trying to open off a link, right click the link and scroll down to "open in new window."

        I'm using IE Windows XP

I don't want to open off a link.

All I want is two windows opened (in the lower toolbar)

I used to be able to do this all the time.

I think it might be something with Yahoo.

Open your IE browser -- go to File Menu -- New Window

          or Cntl - N
