Brit reality star Jane Goody dead

Cervical cancer...she was only 27 years old.

Jade Goody - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

She was probably one of the most hated TV personalities in England...accused of racist bullying towards an Indian actress in Big Brother...and also seen as an attention-getter charging money for everything, including making her cancer profitable...selling exclusives to the highest bidder.

Her entire cancer ordeal was caught on camera...even when she got the news that she had cancer on the Indian reality show, Big Boss...

YouTube - Jade Goody learns about her cancer

I personally didn't know much about her...but I don't think she was racist. If she was...why agree to be on an Indian reality TV show? Besides, she said she regretted many of the things she said to that Indian actress.

...and about charging for everything...well...I'm sure she was taking care of her kids' futures.

    RIP.

I really only started learning about her after the announcement that she was dying of cancer. When people started accusing her of profiting from her illness, she was very straightforward and said that she was. However, also stated that she wasn't using the money to buy cars, fancy clothes, etc. She wanted to make sure that her kids were provided for after she was gone. I didn't see anything wrong with it, and it didn't hurt anyone. There were people willing to pay her, and she had a family to take care of.

It wasn't an Indian TV show. It was `Celebrity Big Brother` here in the UK which had her and an Indian Bollywood actress in the same show. She rose to `fame` (which I would question) on an earlier Big Brother show.

Whilst you can't deny she has certainly raised awareness towards cervical cancer, I just don't get this celebrity worship. She was a loud mouthed nobody, who i'm afraid from a personel point of view, I got sick of hearing about.

I'm sorry when anyone passes on but I always wondered how she got popular. She sure was not the most attractive woman out there.

I'm fine that she made the most out of her ordeal, to see that her kids were well taken care of. That's normal.

But if you see her behave on Big Brother, man, she was vicious.

Yeah but look at all the press she got and the money she made. I always have to wonder if it's just a marketing ploy. Maybe she was just incredibly competitive and was playing to win. She may have been nothing like that in real life. I could see myself being incredibly cut throat to win one of those games. My wife loves that show amazing race, in fact one of the people on there now is a friend of my sons, the deaf guy was a classmate at college, and I would trip an old lady if she was beating me to the flag. I remember a couple back there was a contestant that was a "little person" is that the PC term this week, and she used it to her advantage to get ahead in the show and my wife hated her. I thought it was brilliant. Use what ya got to get the job done, and she did. If others look at it to your advantage, better for you.
It's not a doll it's an action figure.

There was alot of complaints over the OK mag coverage but good on her for raising the awareness to cervical cancer and providing for her kids.

I didnt really follow what she was going through as it brought back memories of my friend who died last year of the same illness

              RIP
