OMG! Natasha Richardson seriously injured in a skiing accident

    Please excuse the slight threadjack/detour----

    I was hit in the head by a car travelling at about 30 mph
    and lost sight in one eye and had the dangerous cranial swelling and all that
    ---when hotfoot mentioned how fragile life was in this thread
    it reminded me of Robin Williams' words to the same effect in the
    movie INSOMNIA----then all of this with Richardson really makes me
    feel grateful for my extended life and incredible sympathy for Natasha
    Richardson's loved ones. If you read the article, you'll see she didn't
    even realize anything was that much the matter at first....and then
    the worst case scenario happens....it's horrifying.

    RIP----bless.

        When my sister was six years old...she fell from a playhouse toboggan and landed right on her head...she suffered a stroke because of that...but hung on and survived (thank God!).

        Her left side of her body became much weaker than her right side due to her accident.

        She still suffers from migraines to this day.

        She recently had a CAT scan...and her brain showed no abnormalities...thank goodness.

            Tragic news.....seems so bizarre the way things turned so quickly after she initally seemed ok.

                Natasha passed away earlier today. 45 years old.

                    Oh man Hector, I'm glad to hear your sister is doing better. If the CAT showed no abnormalities she should do fine.
