I tried logging into my paypal acct yesterday and it said that they were doing a random security check and I needed to give them my bank acct info or credit card number. I got out of there and went to a different computer to log in. Same message. I first thought it was some sort of scam but I physically typed in the paypal address. Anyone else ever have to do this. I think it's legit but want some input first. I work to hard to have my money taken by some idiot scammer.

Couple of months ago paypal requested a pic of me and proof of where I live because I had exceeded a certain of amount of received funds in my account in one year. This was to make sure I wasn't laundering money. I get small amounts in my account from to time (which don't last there very long), $25 here, $40 there, that kind of stuff. Does that sound like I'm laundering money? I ignored it since my paypal account wasn't blocked and I could still send and receive money. Finally, after a few months, they said everything was OK again and they didn't need the info anymore. Go figure
