Meanwhile, you think the real estate bubble popped here? In Dubai, people leave their cars at the airport with the keys in them and run away as fast as they can because they have debtor's prison and foreclosure is no joke.

Paid for by raising oil prices - aka gas prices

Wonder if construction on that has stopped yet? Dubbai's economy has his a serious wall.

Seen pics of it, but that's just crazy. I don't get this urge to have the highest building in the world. By the time this is finished some other Asian country will start construction on a building 3,000 ft high

Our gas dollars at work. Too bad oil bubble has popped! Several of their projects are on hold.

Kill our economy and you kill the world.

I was wondering where the CN Tower was on that list but found this information:

Some fact about the CN Tower:
                        *553.33m
*The CN Tower is the tallest standing structure in the world.
*It is located in Toronto Canada.
*Although it's the tallest structure in the world, it's not the tallest building. The CN Tower isn't consider to be a building.
*The CN Tower was build in 1976.

I couldn't imagine looking at something 200 meters taller.
It does look like a very beautiful city though.

As far as the oil bubble popping and the market crash and all that, people in North America are still spending crazy amounts of money on TOYS!! I think the sheiks over there will be just fine.

The only thing with the CN tower ... I never really considered it a building... so when they say it's the tallest building in North America, I think it's a bit of a cheat.

I guess my only question is why? Just to see if it can be built? If this baby ever falls down it will devastate the ability to put up skyscrapers for an extended period of time. It's so much bigger, it's almost like trying to run before you walk. Looks like someone's trying to make up for a shortage in another area.

It's not a doll it's an action figure.

I have a very narrow view of the world and mostly see things in black and white..

All I see is Arabs destoyed the WTC and now they're building themselves the worlds tallest building.
