    I want my MUMMY!

Just stumbled across this site featuring some ancient Japanese mummies over at the Coast to Coast AM site. Theres more than one small town tourist trap museum in Alberta with some of these fake"mummified mermen" in them. On the other hand, some of this stuff looks pretty real!?

(WARNING: Some of the pictures arent for the sqeamish!)

I've seen a mermaid mummy once at a carnival, they look real, but you just know they aren't. A three-faced demon head? Come one
But I will admit they all look cool

It's probably some form of conjoined triplets.
Wasn't there a kid in india, or some animal, born somewhere last year with 3 faces? There was also a calf with 2 heads it think.

Nothing supernatural about them but to people who didn't know any better these things were thought to be Gods or Demons.

Would they have survived that long? I can't tell from the mummy head(s?) if he/they/it is/are an adult, but the teeth are all out, so it's at least a child. I wonder if anything this deformed with three heads would live that long

I remember seeing a few Egyptian mummies in the 70's and 80's at some kind of Museum in Niagra Falls Ontario.

Later, I heard they were there illegally and sent back to Egypt.

[QUOTE=YANOULI;280217]I'm not saying it isn't possible, just wondering how long they/it would survive, especially back then. With modern science things look better for that Indian baby, but what would've happened a few centuries ago?

                      ^^^
I'm guessing that they would've been killed for being a demon.
