Michael Vick barred from camp

I don't understand why everyone's so down on Vick over this. I mean who among us hasn't electrocuted a dog for not being a talented enough killing machine?

I'm hearing rumors that the Falcons are going to cut Vick from the team.

Chris Mortenson (sp?) of ESPN, who usually gets the scoop early, reported that the league has suggested to the Falcons, and they seem to agree, that Vick should be sidelined for the season, with pay. That way, the league is not coming to any conclusion until the trial, but it is addressing the idea of him actually playing. Seems reasonable. The sticking point seems to be Vick, who doesn't like the idea.

That's just stupid. He's already lost his endorsement deals and there is just no way he can play. This way he can save some face and still get paid. If he is innocent, he can return.

I, of course, have not seen the full case to determine his guilt or innocence, but I will my experience with the feds is taht they do not bring charges until they have all their ducks in a row.
