Really bad week and a half

This has been a really bad week and a half. Last friday my boss who has had it in for me for the last 6-8 month's advised me that I no longer was working up to her requirements. So she fired me.

Yesterday I got a call from my mom letting me know that my grandmother had just passed away. She was 93, and had been sick for for the past 2 years, parkinson's and alzheimers. I know she is in a better place, but it still really sucks. My grandfather her husband is 98 1/2 and I don't know how he is going to get thru this.

I will be leaving for the funeral tomorrow.


Sending out a prayer to all to appreciate the time that you have with your loved ones take every bit you can, because you never know.

Thank you for the kind words it means a lot. As far as the job goes the wife are thinking of it more as a positive now. I am convinced that it was taking years of my life with all of the stress.

Sometimes we don't why we are tested to the extent we are, but just know you will weather this moment and move forward stronger, wiser, and with a greater appreciation of life when it becomes good once more.
