Mine was the Cipsa POTA figures too. I got a couple here and there, but never came across a good Bill, Corny or Zaius, then out of the blue a member here sold me the complete set. I've been kinda burnt out since. Not knowing what I want now. The new Trek figures have been keeping me going.

The way I look through old attics, books, etc, I WILL find something along the lines of a #1 Action or #1 Detective comic one day!!

About 100 years ago, Tulane University had a female college next door called Newcomb College. They are famous for their pottery, and I would love to find one as well.

What the hell, I might as well make it something that's completely unobtainable: the Garada K-7 Jumbo Machinder (possibly one of the rarest and most valuable toys out there). Oh well, at least I managed to see one in person, that will have to be good enough.

Besides the usual carded and boxed Megos and some more playsets I'm also looking for a couple of things I had as a kid. One being the 3D picture sets from Tru Dimensions. I had Batman, Superman, and Spidey growing up but only have Batman left. I also discovered there is Tarzan and Star Trek as well. I'm also looking for the Aurora large puzzle of Spider-man. I don't think they are grails as far as price but are just hard to locate.

I think it's pretty cool how everyone has different grails, come on that coloring book from Mego geek ?? he could've easily said a $1000 figure and instead he chose a coloring book that's probably no more then $50,I think that's awesome

definetly the Aquaman VS Shark playset. How many of these have you seen around the place? I don't think I'll be getting one any time soon, if at all ever, they are too expensive and too hard to find.
The chances of one being for sale at the same time as me having my Mego fund's that high are incredibly slim.

Mine would be a giant oversized Halloween coloring book with a bunch of monsters in it from around 1977-78

The cover was grayish purple and it had a big Witch's profile on it.

I think it was a scholastic books or weekly reader item because my 2nd grade teacher cut one up for halloween and gave everyone a 2-sided page to color. It had regular monsters in it like Frankenstein and Dracula .

It also had a bunch of strange ones like "Mean Man Mongo" and "The Faces in The Fire".

Mine would have to be the Mego ROMULAN MOC. I've never had enough Hobby Money to buy one, in even loose MINT condition. But When EMCEToy's Romulan comes out...the Hunt is over! Because, I'll just as happy with the new Repo.

Not sure I know what you mean by Holy Grail of Collecting? Does it mean items that are still elusive or hard to get items that we have since acquired.

I'll go with the 2nd definition for my holy grail items:

Vintage SW: YakFace & Blue Snaggletooth (both loose but I got 'em)

Modern SW: Eopie w/Qui-Gon Jinn from Episode 1 (not to be confused with the Opee Fish)

Mego: All 4 Wizard of Oz Munchkins

Strawberry Shortcake: Banana Twirl (the "Romulan/Andorian" of the vintage Shortcake line.)

I know mine are probably not that hard to get except for the lack of funds.

    AE Peter Parker
    FF Spiderman
    Circle suit Spidey
Star Wars Display Stand for the original 12 figures.

If I had the $$$ they would be mine by now.....
