Probably because if I really want something I'll just overpay for it if I have to

but...seriously...I spend most my money year in/year out on comissioning
custom figures----so rarely am I after something else that might be
considered "grail-like" anyways

The original Star Wars 12 back header. It comes up a few times a year but I always seem to be short of funds when it's for sale. When the funds aren't an issue none are to be found.

I have always wanted a Rodan too! I used to have it as a kid and have looked every once in a while for it, not a grail but a very cool item.

I am sure everyone here has their personal Holy Grail of collecting... that one toy/object they have always wanted but always seem to miss. Of course, if you're like me it changes. For most of my life mine has been the huge Shogun Warriors Rodan. I feel like it's my white rabbit, and I am sure you can all relate! There are broken trades. There are last-second outbids. There are just-missed-it deals. There are the people who say they have one and then quote some ridiculous price for what is usually junk. This is the life of the collector, I suppose. Just venting.
