When I was a kid I thought it would be so cool to have glasses, then I got them and hated it. I usually wear contacts though. I went to get laser surgery a couple of years ago and the price they quote in the ads is a myth. No one pays those prices; I went in estimating just over 1000 and all told it was really going to be 2800! I had even taken a day off work so we could do the who shot on a Fri - Sat. Needless to say, I was pi$$ed.

            Hmmmm....

Had 'em since I was a kid. I got that thing where you can't see outlines, so everything looks like Colourforms flipped over. I get the lenses specially coated 'cos I also have photosensitive vision.

My long range vision is perfect, but a year ago when the newspaper was at full arm length extension and it was still blurry I got readers and wow what a difference. over a year now and I have to go to 2x and see 3x on the horizon. When yu get a certain age your eyes change shape and then that's it for reading.

I wear them, but I have considered having laser surgery done. It worries me though. What does somebody do if the procedure fails? Is it possible to go back to glasses?

I wore glasses from when I just turned 6 until the optometrist finally let me have contact lens when I turned 16 and my life changed so much.

When I was about 31 or so, I had Lasik surgery and I have never looked back.

Every time I blew out candles on my birthday cakes, every wish I ever made, finally came true.

I don't like the idea of contacts or laser surgery. Just the thought of putting something in my eyes just doesn't sit right with me.

worn glasses since I was 13. I though about Lasik but my eye doctor told me that the improvement in vision wouldn't be worth the cost.

I am supposed to wear glasses but I normally wear contacts when I am performing. When I am rehearsing music, doing art or working on computers I usually have my glasses on. When I am not doing anything constructive, I usually don't wear or use anything.
