Drew Carey to be Bob Barker's replacement

I think it's a nice fit, but then again, I am kind of partial to Drew Carey. He's just one of those dudes that can draw in people from all demographics, so it makes sense to want someone like him as a Game Show Host.

I agree... I'd like a better host... Drew Carey is really not a host so much as a "personality"... I do not dig all of these comedian types suddenly hosting game shows anyway...

They should have offered PRICE to somebody like Bob Eubanks. Sure, Bob is older too, but he's always been a decent game show host. I hate to say it, but even a Pat Sajak type might have been a bettter choice...

I was hoping John O'Hurley would've gotten it...he seems to be more "long-term" than Drew. Of course I don't think anyone is going to match Bob Barker's reign for longevity.

Sounds good to me. Drew was good on Whose Line, and while it wasn't a game show, it give you a good idea how he'd handle it.
