You can see where I was born in my little thread I've got. We left there back in '78 for upstate NY for a little town called Burlington Flats. Was there until '82 then wound up living in places like Hamilton,Oriskany Falls and finally Camden. Then moved down here to Alabama back in '99. Been here since.Leave a comment:

I was born in Newton NJ and grew up in Great Meadows NJ
It was a cool little sleepy farming town, mostly populated by Polish Americans and Ukraine Americans (me included).
We had 2 churches (both Catholic of course)
... and a general store/saloon
A perfect place for a kid to grow up....Leave a comment:

I'm originally from Waterbury, connecticut and lived there until I joined the Air force after high school. I always thought is was ok to live there but now I go back every so often to visit family and friends and it's America's butthole. People are miserable, the place is run down and I have a hard time visiting. The house I grew up in burnt to the ground about 18 yrs' ago and the place is now a vacant lot. Now that I go back to visit, it makes me appreciate Texas. I do miss the pizza something awful though!!Tags: None
