Hey there everyone,
I just wanted to take the time to let everybody know how AWESOME MegoMark71 is......Yesterday I posted on the Marketplace that I needed a loose Human Torch Figure and he responded that he had the suit and a head , if I could find the body. Well I contacted Mark today to say thanks and see if we could work out a deal for the items and we did.......Mr. MegoMark71 decided that $0.00 shipped was a fair and good price ! I didnt know what to say......except WOW, and THANK YOU about 100 times ! Just goes to show you that there are GOOD PEOPLE out there and at least 3/4 of them are here on the board !! THANK YOU AGAIN MARK..........AWESOME!!!!!

Anderson thank you so much for the kind words. I have had enough strife in my life to be where i am today.

I posted when I first signed up for the forums that i lost all my collectibles in sept of 07 in a bad fire. It has been very tough and starting a collection again has been very hard. My mego collection was only second to my StarWars collection. I had been collecting since i was a kid and my plans were to eventually open my own store and live off what i sold. Now i didn't horde everything. I also believed in opening one and keeping one sealed so i wouldn't go nuts wanting to open the one. I had to let go of what i had and be thankful for what i still had. That fire changed my whole life and the way i look at things. If i would have charged you it would have been 15 bucks shipped. Still a great deal, but the karma and good feelings from doing it this way far exceed the monitory value. Thank you again for your kind words.

There's a lot of good karma on this forum.
Last month I had a bad spell, falling down the stairs and mangling my arm in the process. One member I had been PMing with, sent me a Mego Torch free of charge, just to make me feel better. He knew I was looking for one, and apparently that's all he needed to know.
Stuff like this restored my faith in (certain parts of) humanity, and believe me, it needed restoring...
