Land of the Giants out tomorrow!

Land of the Giants comes out on DVD tomorrow, at a whopping $169 for the boxed set! I'm still debating buying it. Anyone here taking the plunge?

Well, I don't plan on buying it, only b/c I have almost all the eps on tape from when the Sci-Fi channel aired them. Man, my kids love this show! Sometime parents have to bodily move kids out the door b/c they were so engrossed! I know all you guy who buy will love it. Share it w/ your kids!

Well, I wanted to get it but had sticker shock. Then I saw this:

This story is the guy wanted to sell off the DVD's and keep the rest of the set(the gift set material).

I was interested in the comic book reprint and the booklet only and could do without those too if it means $100 off.

But I hope he comes through, 10 feedback (although 100%) could mean anything.

I know I am taking a bit of a chance but if I get the DVD's (without the rest of the set) at that price, it was all worth it. It he doesn't come through I have Ebay and Paypal avenues to try to get satisfaction.

If anyone gets the full set, I might make it worth thier while if they could copy/scan the booklet and comic.

I'm really interested if they did clean up work on the comic art. If they just copied it off of the newsprint, I might just pick up a real Land Of The Giants number 1, they aren't that expensive.

I got my Ebay auction Land Of The Giants DVD's today and nothing else except for the cases (as expected). I'm going to have fun checking them out. T1K once sent me a few LOTG episodes in return for something I did for him and I enjoyed them. I bought Land Of The Giants comic #1 on Ebay(even though I think I had bought it before and it's just hidden somewhere, I love picking up Dell/Gold Key TV show books) but would love to someday see the comic book reprint and booklet that came with the set.

But at $72.00 (postage included), no complaints.
