Reason I'm asking: I've written a book. Now, to make sure I've used the correct English, I'm asking some "native speakers" to check it out, read it through, and hopefully point out my language mistakes.
One UK member already gave it the all-clear (thanks, Barry!), but the more the merrier, is what I say. I've noticed that every new reader has pointed out different things, which is good.
So do we have an "expert" among us?
To give you an idea about the book: it has adventure, humour (I hope), it's about mythology and demons (without being horror). But it's no Harry Potter, either. I call it a supernatural thriller/adventure story, aimed at a broad audience.
So thankfully, it's not a manual about "how to fix a drain pipe in twelve easy lessons". You shouldn't be bored, I hope. It's about 600 pages (paperback novel size pages).
And I need no sugar-coating. That won't help me. I need someone with a red marker. No pain, no gain.
So, any takers?
