I don't have déjà vu very often, but when I do I enjoy it. I like to see how long it lasts before the feeling fades.

I can say I have only felt it a few times and it was awesome!

Specially around pics of the 50's I swear I was a Yankees fan in New York circa 1950's.

When we first moved to Houston we were in the south of town (where I had NEVER been) in a sports card store and I turned to my wife and said " lets go down this main road and about 2 miles down there is an elementry school with half sunk in the ground tires in front of it, across the street there is a big white two story house I remember being in". She told me to stop acting like and idiot and I said, ok, lets go check. Sure enough I was right. For some weird reason (no, we didn't go in the house) I remember being in the house and can describe the layout. It was eerie. My wife to this day thinks I had been down there but this was the first time I was in that area. I am not a believer in past lives but this kinda scared me. It was like Deja Vu but I had never been there before either as an adult or kid. I really do not know how to explain it. I knew the place was there but I do not know how.

                From Wikipedia:

                Déjà visité
This experience is less common and involves an uncanny knowledge of a new place. The translation is "already visited." Here one may know his or her way around in a new town or landscape while at the same time knowing that this should not be possible.

I keep hearing that "No, but I can check with the kitchen" line
from GROUNDHOG DAY everytime a I read bobbaits's opening line of this thread
"No. No no no no no no. You done got me talkin' politics. I didn't wanna'. Like I said y'all, I'm just happy to be alive. I think I'll scoot over here right by this winda', let this beautiful carriage rock me to sleep, and dream about how lucky I am." - Chris Mannix
