Smallville got picked up for season 9

Just read yesterday the CW picked up Smallville for one more season. Hopefully they continue to have great stories and end with him in the suit. This season has been pretty good so far.

Cool. But I think they have just about gone as far as they can without him in the suit or actually flying now. I do agree that this season has been pretty good so far.

On a side note TV Guide has a picture of Zatanna. She looks just like the comic version, with top hat and fishnets. According to the write-up Zee is at the beginning of learning to use her powers and they don't always work the way she intends.

Glad to know I can look forward to at least one more season.
I agree, he should get in the suit by the last episode at least; if not sooner.

I was a bit put off by the blatant changes (from comic continuity) when it first came out but I love it.
It has the spirit of the Superman family of characters and is a really good show. You might like it if you gave it a try.

I gave up on Smallville early on----probably woulda liked some of it---
but---oh well---maybe I'll see it again one of these days.

I'd like to see the Superman suit grand finale if it happens...kinda like
watching the superbowl after passing on watching the whole season of games.

Don't feel bad. To me, it is a just a stupid soap opera using Superman's name and character references. It is not really Superman. That show sucks in my opinion.
It is successful because people who like soap opera drama and sci fi have latched onto it. I just wish it was "more like Superman".
I feel they will never do it because the majority of the population doesn't want to see superheroes in their soap opera.
