I know but that is what we put on when we were kids and I guess around here we still call it lotion.

I guess if pressed I would say sunscreen.

either way it is still coppertone

It must be just a Jersey thing.

On TV, I hear people call it sunblock or sunscreen.

In real life, everyone around here (including me)calls it sun tan lotion.

Yeah, it's Canadian but old fashioned, I only heard my grandmother and other people around her age actually use that term. I believe a sofa is also referred to as a "davenport" in some regions (from the name of a company that used to make them).
