    ebay/paypal question

    So;

    You can link your paypal account to a bank account and switch funds that way. I have a US account I don't use so much; mostly for cashing US money orders and cheques.... Would it be worth hooking them up?

    Yes you can. I have a US checking account that I set up just for Paypal. I can fund from my bank account when I want to buy something (actually it's through the Visa Debit card connected to my bank account, for a bit more protection) and if I sell a bunch of stuff, I can transfer the money to my connected bank account. I never leave any significant amount of money sitting in my Paypal account. I don't trust them, they don't have to follow the same regulations that a bank does. (I also wouldn't have a main checking/savings account or anything linked with Paypal either. That's why I set up a separate account for this, although I also use it for any US online purchases I make)
