True Blood Surprisingly Watchable

I am two episodes in so far on the HBO series True Blood. Good cast, good acting, good stories so far. I also just bought the first 2 books the series has based on. Been okay so far.

The series is pretty good and I can't wait till next season.

It's not a bad show at all. I watched the first 7 episodes so far and liked them. I'll have to finish off watching the rest of the season when I get the chance.

My friend burned the first season for me on DVD off of HBO in High Fi. He sent it to me. I watched it and I enjoyed it. I am hooked.
I went out and bought the books it was actually written from. Holy cow! They have totally taken the stories from the books and twisted them around into something opposite and different from how the characters are originally written. It really isn't even the same anymore.
If I was the author of the original books I would be cheesed off bad!!

Personally, I thought it was just ok. The plot line seemed a bit weak to me and some of the scenes a bit too graphic for my liking. It is worth watching if you have HBO or can have the DVD's burned for you but personally not something I would spend money on for the DVD set.
